Dodgeball- Come have a (dodge) ball with Thundercat Sports! Gator skin safety balls will be used to ensure safety and fun. This program will consist of different dodge ball related games such as: Doctor, Bombardment, Absorption, Jail Break and more. Clinic is coed, please bring sneakers, appropriate clothing, and a water bottle.
Sing, Dance, Play, & Create w/ Music Jen-
Those with and without disabilities are invited to participate in this inclusive, non-judgemental, and joyful program in which we'll sing, play pitched and non-pitched hand percussion instruments, create song lyrics, and dance to the music. All of this a stress-release and appropriate outlet for self-expression will be facilitated by music Jen, the Board Certified Music Therapist that has serviced the integrated Pre-K's in Grafton for nearly a decade. Music Jen has directed the songs at Grafton Celebrates the Holidays Tree Lighting for 8 years.
Kids Test Kitchen- Kids’ Test Kitchen is on a mission to redefine "kid food" by engaging students of all ages in a fun, hands-on cooking experience. Our enthusiastic facilitators guide participants through transforming fresh ingredients into healthy dishes, fostering essential life skills like teamwork and patience along the way. Even the most reluctant eaters thrive in our supportive environment, where curiosity is encouraged and the choice to taste is always their own. Each session features all new recipes, and every student heads home with a recipe card and the focal ingredient or a sample of their work, ready to share their new skills and excitement for fresh flavors with the whole family!
LEGO WeDo Robotics - Get hands-on with LEGO WeDo 2.0 Robotics and dive into science and programming! You'll learn to code by designing and building moving robots using LEGO software and kits. We'll create sensor-equipped robots and test building designs on a shake table to see how they hold up in simulated earthquakes.
Kid Cool Chemistry - Be a cool chemist as we use primary colors to create a rainbow of slime, make magnetized putty, and use the power of pH to make color-changing solutions. Dig deep into a diaper to experiment with super-absorbent polymers and create a classic mini volcano to erupt.
