NOTE- ANYONE WHO CANCELS OUT OF REC BASKETBALL TO GO TO TRAVEL WILL BE ASSESSED THE $20 CANCELLATION FEE.

Grade 1
The Grafton Recreation Youth Basketball Program is proud to offer a 6 week co-ed program for boys and girls in 1st grade. This program with give them the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball and to put those skills to use playing fun games in a recreational setting.
YOUR CHILD CAN BE REGISTERED FOR ONE SESSION ONLY. THIS ALLOWS MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION FOR ALL CHILDREN. GRAFTON RECREATION WILL UNENROLL CHILDREN WHO ARE REGISTERED FOR MORE THAN ONE SESSION AT THEIR DISCRETION.
- Players will be assigned a coach to work with as a point of contact but will participate in a group setting with other players.
- Weekly skill sessions & games will be held on Friday nights at 5:30pm at the Grafton Municipal Center.

Grade 2

Grades 4-6
This league is for sex-specific in grades 4-6. Teams will be comprised of players from grades 4 through 6. Player evaluations will be conducted prior to team assignments. Practice and game times will be announced before the season starts.
Days/Times: Practices will be held once per week. Each team will be assigned a specific weeknight to practice; Monday through Thursday.
Weekly games are held on Saturdays. Girls in grades 4-6 typically play games at either 9 or 10am and Boys play 11, 12 or 1.
Pre-season evaluations will be done on Monday 10/28-Wednesday 10/30 OR Monday, 11/4.

Boys Grades 7-9
This league is for boys in grades 7-9. Player evaluations will be conducted prior to team assignments. Practice and game times will be announced before the season starts.
Days/Times: Practices will be held once per week. Each team will be assigned a specific weeknight to practice; Monday through Thursday.
Weekly games are held on Saturdays; typically at 3, 4, or 5pm.
Pre-season evaluations will be done on Monday 10/28-Wednesday 10/30 OR Monday, 11/4.

Boys Grades 10-12
This program offers boys the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball and to put those skills to use playing games in a recreational setting. No experience is necessary.
High School Varsity players are not eligible to play. Player evaluations will be held the last week of October.This division needs a minimum of 20 participants to run the program.
Practices/games will be held at one of Grafton's elementary schools. Day of practice will depend on availability of players.
Pre-season evaluations will be done on Monday 10/28-Wednesday 10/30 OR Monday, 11/4.

Girls Grades 7-12
This program offers girls the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball and to put those skills to use playing games in a recreational setting. No experience is necessary.

Practices/games will be held at one of Grafton's elementary schools. Practices/Games are on Mondays 6-7:30pm.
