Please see below all of our offerings at Millbury Street School!Please make sure that you notify your child's teacher that they are enrolled in this program.IMPORTANT- ONLY CHILDREN ENROLLED AT MSES MAY ATTEND THESE PROGRAMS.Baking Championships- Roll up your sleeves and get ready for some friendly competition! Kids will have a set amount of time to create and decorate confections based on Spring Time Themes like Earth Day, Spring Flowers, Baby Animals & more!We will be working with cupcakes, cookies, frosting, fondant and decorations! All ingredients used are nut-free however; some pre-made ingredients may be processed in a facility that also processes nuts. Dodgeball- Come have a (dodge) ball with Thundercat Sports! Gator skin safety balls will be used to ensure safety and fun. This program will consist of different dodge ball related games such as: Doctor, Bombardment, Absorption, Jail Break and more. Clinic is coed, please bring sneakers, appropriate clothing, and a water bottle.STEM Coding & Robotics - Calling all future coding maestros and robotic engineers! RoboThink presents a thrilling camp that will take you on a journey into the fascinating world of STEM. Join us as we unlock the secrets of coding and robotics, using RoboThink's advanced hardware and software to build an impressive array of machines. From crafting a mesmerizing wind turbine to constructing a rubber band shooting turret, the possibilities for innovation are endless! With the guidance of our passionate instructors, you'll dive into the realm of LEDs, Infrared Sensors, Servo motors, and more. Nailed It Winter Wonderland - Celebrate winter time in New England by creating a Winter Wonderland every week! Kids will create an edible penguin sledding igloo paradise, a frosty the tree farm, and a winter wonderland cake finale! Kids will take all of their creations home to enjoy. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make winter deliciously creative!Nailed It Halloween & Thanksgiving - Just like on the popular TV baking show, kids will be tasked with a challenge to re-create a complex confectionery masterpiece using pre-made ingredients like fondant, cake, cupcakes, rice krispies, and various frostings/icings based on a Fall Halloween and Thanksgiving Themes. No experience necessary, just bring yourself and your imagination! All ingredients used are nut-free however some pre-made ingredients may be processed in a facility that also processes nuts.

Our recreational gymnastics program at The Shrewsbury Club is a non-competitive program that concentrates on introductory gymnastics skills, flexibility, strength, balance and loads of fun! Each gymnast will learn the four events in gymnastics; vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.Bitty Bball- Intro to Basketball for preschool aged children.Little Bombers Big League- The class teaches baseball fundamentals such as hitting, fielding, (outfield and infield) throwing mechanics, catching, pitching and base running, in a skills and drills type format.Swim Lessons Parent/ Child- Our Parent and Child Swim Class is a wonderful opportunity for parents or caregivers to bond with their little ones while introducing them to the joys and benefits of swimming. This class is designed for infants and toddlers, typically ranging from 6 months to 3 years old, accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Level 1- In Level 1, participants will learn basic water acclimation and familiarization Level 2- Level 2 swim lessons are the next step for individuals who have already completed Level 1 or have some basic water experience.  Level 3- Level 3 swim lessons are designed for individuals who have completed Level 2 or have a basic understanding of water safety and stroke techniques. Level 4- Level 4 swim lessons are a significant step in honing one's swimming abilities, offering a well-rounded program that prepares individuals for recreational swimming and even competitive swimming if desired.  Adult- Our Adult Beginners Swim Class is tailored for adults with little to no prior swimming experience who are eager to learn how to swim or improve their confidence in the water.  Tiny Dancers- Creative movement class that explores the beginnings of ballet & tap technique. Dancers will learn to follow directions in a structured environment, rhythmic dance, stretching, body awareness, gross motor skills & socialization while using props, fun music and games throughout the class. *Has an end of session performance.Tumble Tots Gymnastics- 2.5 to 5-year-old classes enhance emerging gymnastics skills in an energetic and creative environment. This class is a wonderful place for first-time experiences with a teacher and peers! At ages 4 and 5, children refine basic skills that reinforce a heightened aptitude for all physical sports activities. This class offers great challenges to the older preschooler on scaled-down gymnastics equipment.Lil Dragons Karate - The Little Dragons program is designed for children within the preschool age. We focus on the core principles of respect, discipline, honesty, courtesy and integrity. The basics of balance, coordination, cooperation, kicking, punching and blocking are taught as well as some basic life skills.Teen/Adult Karate- This class is designed for teens and adults of all experience levels, from complete beginners to those looking to refine their skills. We focus on traditional karate techniques, including strikes, blocks, kicks, and self-defense, while emphasizing physical conditioning, mental focus, and practical application. Beyond mastering martial arts, you'll build discipline, confidence, and stress relief in a challenging yet supportive environment. Enjoy programs afterschool at NGES. PLEASE NOTE- YOUR CHILD MUST ATTEND NGES TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE PROGRAMS.Ultra Sports- If you are getting tired of playing the same old sports everyday, this is definitely the program for you. The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.Little Yogi's by Little Roots Yoga- Each week Ms. Marcy will lead your child through fun-filled themed yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, music, mindful activities, and relaxation techniques. While improving their flexibility, coordination, balance and strength, they will also be learning how to self-regulate, calm their bodies and minds, and increase their confidence. Kids will enjoy a variety of themes like Zoo Animals, Gratitude, Pirates, Kindness, Feelings and Colors, Space, Farm Animals and more.  Yoga Mat’s will be provided.Music Therapy with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, play pitched and non-pitched instruments as well as write your own verses to songs with Music Jen, the integrated PreK music enrichment teacher that SGES has had for the past 6 years. No prior experience is necessary, this class welcomes all abilities. This program is designed for children with and without disabilities to learn and play together. If registrant may need additional support please contact the Recreation Department and complete an intake assessment 10 days prior to the program start dateSports Tournament Event with F.A.S.T. Athletics- F.A.S.T. Athletics one day sports event will be a round robin, high energy, music playing event you will not want to miss! All players will be divided into equal teams and placed in a tournament bracket and there will be one team remaining at the end!!

3:30 PM - 5:30 PM    Adult Sports - Volleyball Drop-In Teen/Adult
Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO YOUR TEAM ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED THE CANCELLATION FEE).Adult Pick Up Games- Come and be a kid again! We are planning some FUN, LAUGHTER, and good ol' fashioned GAMES on Friday nights! No stress - "just for fun" games such as badminton, kickball, yard games, recess games & more. Leave your stress at the door and come play for the night! Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.Indoor Winter Pickle Ball (Residents Only)- Calling all Grafton Resident Pickle Ball enthusiasts. Enjoy the winter indoor program option during the cold months. The indoor courts will be based upon a first come first serve basis of registered participants.Volleyball Drop-In Teen/Adult - Monday & Thursday Nights at the Municipal Center Gym. All skill levels welcome, but no instruction will be provided. Monday 3:30pm-5:30pm Thursday 7:30pm - 9pmHiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided hike at Pell Farm to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 8 Soap Hill Road. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.

Metafit is the true HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout and is designed to boost your fitness level, rocket your energy levels & get massive results in the shortest amount of time possible. Metafit is all bodyweight moves and is only 30 minutes long! The "afterburn" from a Metafit workout lasts a minimum 24 hours and up to 48 hours after the workout! That means you are burning fat even in your sleep!!Yoga- This Yoga class offers a moderately paced sequence through the traditional Yoga poses with guidance to unite your breath & body. Class is accessible to all levels of practitioners. (Yoga experience helpful, but not necessary.) Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion. All classes include elements of strength, endurance, stillness and reflection. Come away from your Yoga practice with decreased stress and anxiety, bringing you back to a calm and grounded center.Pilates- Let’s build a strong “Powerhouse” together. Enjoy programs afterschool at SGES. PLEASE NOTE- YOUR CHILD MUST ATTEND SGES TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE PROGRAMS.Ultra Sports- If you are getting tired of playing the same old sports everyday, this is definitely the program for you. The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.Little Yogi's by Little Roots Yoga- Each week Ms. Marcy will lead your child through fun-filled themed yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, music, mindful activities, and relaxation techniques. While improving their flexibility, coordination, balance and strength, they will also be learning how to self-regulate, calm their bodies and minds, and increase their confidence. Kids will enjoy a variety of themes like Zoo Animals, Gratitude, Pirates, Kindness, Feelings and Colors, Space, Farm Animals and more.  Yoga Mat’s will be provided.Music Therapy with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, play pitched and non-pitched instruments as well as write your own verses to songs with Music Jen, the integrated PreK music enrichment teacher that SGES has had for the past 6 years. No prior experience is necessary, this class welcomes all abilities. This program is designed for children with and without disabilities to learn and play together. If registrant may need additional support please contact the Recreation Department and complete an intake assessment 10 days prior to the program start date. Sports Tournament Event with F.A.S.T. Athletics- F.A.S.T. Athletics one day sports event will be a round robin, high energy, music playing event you will not want to miss! All players will be divided into equal teams and placed in a tournament bracket and there will be one team remaining at the end!!

See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO YOUR TEAM ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED THE CANCELLATION FEE).Adult Pick Up Games- Come and be a kid again! We are planning some FUN, LAUGHTER, and good ol' fashioned GAMES on Friday nights! No stress - "just for fun" games such as badminton, kickball, yard games, recess games & more. Leave your stress at the door and come play for the night! Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.Indoor Winter Pickle Ball (Residents Only)- Calling all Grafton Resident Pickle Ball enthusiasts. Enjoy the winter indoor program option during the cold months. The indoor courts will be based upon a first come first serve basis of registered participants.Volleyball Drop-In Teen/Adult - Monday & Thursday Nights at the Municipal Center Gym. All skill levels welcome, but no instruction will be provided. Monday 3:30pm-5:30pm Thursday 7:30pm - 9pmHiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided hike at Pell Farm to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 8 Soap Hill Road. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.

Metafit is the true HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout and is designed to boost your fitness level, rocket your energy levels & get massive results in the shortest amount of time possible. Metafit is all bodyweight moves and is only 30 minutes long! The "afterburn" from a Metafit workout lasts a minimum 24 hours and up to 48 hours after the workout! That means you are burning fat even in your sleep!!Yoga- This Yoga class offers a moderately paced sequence through the traditional Yoga poses with guidance to unite your breath & body. Class is accessible to all levels of practitioners. (Yoga experience helpful, but not necessary.) Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion. All classes include elements of strength, endurance, stillness and reflection. This class is a wonderful place for first-time experiences with a teacher and peers! At ages 4 and 5, children refine basic skills that reinforce a heightened aptitude for all physical sports activities. This class offers great challenges to the older preschooler on scaled-down gymnastics equipment.Lil Dragons Karate - The Little Dragons program is designed for children within the preschool age. We focus on the core principles of respect, discipline, honesty, courtesy and integrity. The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.Little Yogi's by Little Roots Yoga- Each week Ms. Marcy will lead your child through fun-filled themed yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, music, mindful activities, and relaxation techniques. While improving their flexibility, coordination, balance and strength, they will also be learning how to self-regulate, calm their bodies and minds, and increase their confidence. Kids will enjoy a variety of themes like Zoo Animals, Gratitude, Pirates, Kindness, Feelings and Colors, Space, Farm Animals and more.  Yoga Mat’s will be provided.Music Therapy with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, play pitched and non-pitched instruments as well as write your own verses to songs with Music Jen, the integrated PreK music enrichment teacher that SGES has had for the past 6 years. No prior experience is necessary, this class welcomes all abilities. This program is designed for children with and without disabilities to learn and play together. If registrant may need additional support please contact the Recreation Department and complete an intake assessment 10 days prior to the program start date. Sports Tournament Event with F.A.S.T. Athletics- F.A.S.T. Athletics one day sports event will be a round robin, high energy, music playing event you will not want to miss! All players will be divided into equal teams and placed in a tournament bracket and there will be one team remaining at the end!!

Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO YOUR TEAM ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED THE CANCELLATION FEE).Adult Pick Up Games- Come and be a kid again! We are planning some FUN, LAUGHTER, and good ol' fashioned GAMES on Friday nights! No stress - "just for fun" games such as badminton, kickball, yard games, recess games & more. Leave your stress at the door and come play for the night! Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.Indoor Winter Pickle Ball (Residents Only)- Calling all Grafton Resident Pickle Ball enthusiasts. Enjoy the winter indoor program option during the cold months. The indoor courts will be based upon a first come first serve basis of registered participants.Volleyball Drop-In Teen/Adult - Monday & Thursday Nights at the Municipal Center Gym. All skill levels welcome, but no instruction will be provided. Monday 3:30pm-5:30pm Thursday 7:30pm - 9pmHiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided hike at Pell Farm to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 8 Soap Hill Road. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.

All ingredients used are nut-free however; some pre-made ingredients may be processed in a facility that also processes nuts.Dodgeball- Come have a (dodge) ball with Thundercat Sports! Gator skin safety balls will be used to ensure safety and fun. This program will consist of different dodge ball related games such as: Doctor, Bombardment, Absorption, Jail Break and more. Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.Indoor Winter Pickle Ball (Residents Only)- Calling all Grafton Resident Pickle Ball enthusiasts. Enjoy the winter indoor program option during the cold months. The indoor courts will be based upon a first come first serve basis of registered participants.Volleyball Drop-In Teen/Adult - Monday & Thursday Nights at the Municipal Center Gym. All skill levels welcome, but no instruction will be provided. Monday 3:30pm-5:30pm Thursday 7:30pm - 9pmHiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided hike at Pell Farm to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 8 Soap Hill Road. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.

Metafit is the true HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout and is designed to boost your fitness level, rocket your energy levels & get massive results in the shortest amount of time possible. Metafit is all bodyweight moves and is only 30 minutes long! The "afterburn" from a Metafit workout lasts a minimum 24 hours and up to 48 hours after the workout! That means you are burning fat even in your sleep!!Yoga- This Yoga class offers a moderately paced sequence through the traditional Yoga poses with guidance to unite your breath & body. Class is accessible to all levels of practitioners. (Yoga experience helpful, but not necessary.) Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion. All classes include elements of strength, endurance, stillness and reflection. Come away from your Yoga practice with decreased stress and anxiety, bringing you back to a calm and grounded center.Pilates- Let’s build a strong “Powerhouse” together. Enjoy programs afterschool at SGES. PLEASE NOTE- YOUR CHILD MUST ATTEND SGES TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE PROGRAMS.Ultra Sports- If you are getting tired of playing the same old sports everyday, this is definitely the program for you. The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.Little Yogi's by Little Roots Yoga- Each week Ms. Marcy will lead your child through fun-filled themed yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, music, mindful activities, and relaxation techniques. While improving their flexibility, coordination, balance and strength, they will also be learning how to self-regulate, calm their bodies and minds, and increase their confidence. Kids will enjoy a variety of themes like Zoo Animals, Gratitude, Pirates, Kindness, Feelings and Colors, Space, Farm Animals and more.  Yoga Mat’s will be provided.Music Therapy with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, play pitched and non-pitched instruments as well as write your own verses to songs with Music Jen, the integrated PreK music enrichment teacher that SGES has had for the past 6 years. No prior experience is necessary, this class welcomes all abilities. This program is designed for children with and without disabilities to learn and play together. If registrant may need additional support please contact the Recreation Department and complete an intake assessment 10 days prior to the program start date. Sports Tournament Event with F.A.S.T. Athletics- F.A.S.T. Athletics one day sports event will be a round robin, high energy, music playing event you will not want to miss! All players will be divided into equal teams and placed in a tournament bracket and there will be one team remaining at the end!!

See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.Little Yogi's by Little Roots Yoga- Each week Ms. Marcy will lead your child through fun-filled themed yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, music, mindful activities, and relaxation techniques. While improving their flexibility, coordination, balance and strength, they will also be learning how to self-regulate, calm their bodies and minds, and increase their confidence. Kids will enjoy a variety of themes like Zoo Animals, Gratitude, Pirates, Kindness, Feelings and Colors, Space, Farm Animals and more.  Yoga Mat’s will be provided.Music Therapy with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, play pitched and non-pitched instruments as well as write your own verses to songs with Music Jen, the integrated PreK music enrichment teacher that SGES has had for the past 6 years. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion street hockey game. The Grafton Recreation Department will be hosting a Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair at Grafton High School on Sunday, December 7, 2025 in conjunction with the town-wide event, Grafton Celebrates the Holidays. The fair will be held from 10:00am -2:30pm at the high school.To acquire a space, please register online. All applications will be reviewed. E-mails will be sent with the status of your application as they are processed. Selection will be based on bringing a variety of offerings to the Fair. Selection process starts in late March. If you are selected to be a vendor, payment is due to hold your space within 7 days of notification. If payment is not received when due, your space will be filled by the next applicable vendor.After receipt of payment, details will be sent regarding set up and breakdown times, table #, vendor parking and other pertinent information.Proceeds benefit the Grafton Recreation Scholarship Fund. The fee is non-refundable. You will be provided with a full space that is on average 10 feet wide by 5 feet front to back along with two chairs for a fee of $40. A second space is available for an additional $30 fee. Tables will be a separate charge of $10 each. Table assignments will be made by the Recreation Department. We will not be taking preferences for table locations. Crafters can request electricity, although it is very limited  and will be given on a first come, first served basis.The floor plan will vary based on number of applicants.For any questions on the application process, please e-mail recreation@grafton-ma.gov or call the office at 508-839-8507.Don’t forget to promote to your friends, family and followers on social media that you’ll be there!FEES:  $40 per space, $30 per additional space, and $10 per table.In the past, people have tried to scam others into signing up for the craft fair. Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO YOUR TEAM ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED THE CANCELLATION FEE).Adult Pick Up Games- Come and be a kid again! Monday 3:30pm-5:30pm Thursday 7:30pm - 9pmHiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided hike at Pell Farm to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 8 Soap Hill Road. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.

Metafit is all bodyweight moves and is only 30 minutes long! The "afterburn" from a Metafit workout lasts a minimum 24 hours and up to 48 hours after the workout! That means you are burning fat even in your sleep!!Yoga- This Yoga class offers a moderately paced sequence through the traditional Yoga poses with guidance to unite your breath & body. Class is accessible to all levels of practitioners. (Yoga experience helpful, but not necessary.) Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion. All classes include elements of strength, endurance, stillness and reflection. The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.Little Yogi's by Little Roots Yoga- Each week Ms. Marcy will lead your child through fun-filled themed yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, music, mindful activities, and relaxation techniques. While improving their flexibility, coordination, balance and strength, they will also be learning how to self-regulate, calm their bodies and minds, and increase their confidence. Kids will enjoy a variety of themes like Zoo Animals, Gratitude, Pirates, Kindness, Feelings and Colors, Space, Farm Animals and more.  Yoga Mat’s will be provided.Music Therapy with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, play pitched and non-pitched instruments as well as write your own verses to songs with Music Jen, the integrated PreK music enrichment teacher that SGES has had for the past 6 years. No prior experience is necessary, this class welcomes all abilities. This program is designed for children with and without disabilities to learn and play together. If registrant may need additional support please contact the Recreation Department and complete an intake assessment 10 days prior to the program start date. Sports Tournament Event with F.A.S.T. Athletics- F.A.S.T. Athletics one day sports event will be a round robin, high energy, music playing event you will not want to miss! All players will be divided into equal teams and placed in a tournament bracket and there will be one team remaining at the end!!

Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO YOUR TEAM ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED THE CANCELLATION FEE).Adult Pick Up Games- Come and be a kid again! We are planning some FUN, LAUGHTER, and good ol' fashioned GAMES on Friday nights! No stress - "just for fun" games such as badminton, kickball, yard games, recess games & more. Leave your stress at the door and come play for the night! Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.Indoor Winter Pickle Ball (Residents Only)- Calling all Grafton Resident Pickle Ball enthusiasts. Enjoy the winter indoor program option during the cold months. The indoor courts will be based upon a first come first serve basis of registered participants.Volleyball Drop-In Teen/Adult - Monday & Thursday Nights at the Municipal Center Gym. All skill levels welcome, but no instruction will be provided. Monday 3:30pm-5:30pm Thursday 7:30pm - 9pmHiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided hike at Pell Farm to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 8 Soap Hill Road. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.

This class focuses on basic dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork for aspiring young players.Tiny Tigers Karate - This dynamic program introduces martial arts fundamentals, enhancing focus, coordination, and self-confidence.Junior Beginner Karate - In this class, kids will learn the fundamental stances, blocks, punches, and kicks that form the core of karate. Beyond physical techniques, we emphasize discipline, focus, respect, and self-control, all taught in a structured and supportive environment. It's a great way for your child to build confidence and develop essential life skills!All Sports- Intro to Sports for preschool aged children. Each week they rotate through our sports options (basketball, baseball, tennis, gymnastics, soccer, dance, karate)Beginner Gymnastics- From the very beginner gymnast to the more advanced, everyone continues to learn! We cater to each child and their learning ability. Our recreational gymnastics program at The Shrewsbury Club is a non-competitive program that concentrates on introductory gymnastics skills, flexibility, strength, balance and loads of fun! Each gymnast will learn the four events in gymnastics; vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.Bitty Bball- Intro to Basketball for preschool aged children.Little Bombers Big League- The class teaches baseball fundamentals such as hitting, fielding, (outfield and infield) throwing mechanics, catching, pitching and base running, in a skills and drills type format.Swim Lessons Parent/ Child- Our Parent and Child Swim Class is a wonderful opportunity for parents or caregivers to bond with their little ones while introducing them to the joys and benefits of swimming. This class is designed for infants and toddlers, typically ranging from 6 months to 3 years old, accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Level 1- In Level 1, participants will learn basic water acclimation and familiarization Level 2- Level 2 swim lessons are the next step for individuals who have already completed Level 1 or have some basic water experience.  Level 3- Level 3 swim lessons are designed for individuals who have completed Level 2 or have a basic understanding of water safety and stroke techniques. Level 4- Level 4 swim lessons are a significant step in honing one's swimming abilities, offering a well-rounded program that prepares individuals for recreational swimming and even competitive swimming if desired.  Adult- Our Adult Beginners Swim Class is tailored for adults with little to no prior swimming experience who are eager to learn how to swim or improve their confidence in the water.  Tiny Dancers- Creative movement class that explores the beginnings of ballet & tap technique. Dancers will learn to follow directions in a structured environment, rhythmic dance, stretching, body awareness, gross motor skills & socialization while using props, fun music and games throughout the class. *Has an end of session performance.Tumble Tots Gymnastics- 2.5 to 5-year-old classes enhance emerging gymnastics skills in an energetic and creative environment. This class is a wonderful place for first-time experiences with a teacher and peers! At ages 4 and 5, children refine basic skills that reinforce a heightened aptitude for all physical sports activities. This class offers great challenges to the older preschooler on scaled-down gymnastics equipment.Lil Dragons Karate - The Little Dragons program is designed for children within the preschool age. We focus on the core principles of respect, discipline, honesty, courtesy and integrity. PLEASE NOTE- YOUR CHILD MUST ATTEND NGES TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE PROGRAMS.Ultra Sports- If you are getting tired of playing the same old sports everyday, this is definitely the program for you. The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and team work.After School Soccer - Our soccer program will teach the fundamental skills of dribbling, trapping, shooting, and passing by teaching them in a very nontraditional and energetic way. Not only will the students learn the rules and positions of one of the most popular games in the world but they will have the chance to scrimmage each other as well as have shoot outs, breakaway’s, and 1 on 1’s!After School Basketball - Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.Little Yogi's by Little Roots Yoga- Each week Ms. Marcy will lead your child through fun-filled themed yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, music, mindful activities, and relaxation techniques. While improving their flexibility, coordination, balance and strength, they will also be learning how to self-regulate, calm their bodies and minds, and increase their confidence. Kids will enjoy a variety of themes like Zoo Animals, Gratitude, Pirates, Kindness, Feelings and Colors, Space, Farm Animals and more.  Yoga Mat’s will be provided.Music Therapy with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, play pitched and non-pitched instruments as well as write your own verses to songs with Music Jen, the integrated PreK music enrichment teacher that SGES has had for the past 6 years. No prior experience is necessary, this class welcomes all abilities. This program is designed for children with and without disabilities to learn and play together. If registrant may need additional support please contact the Recreation Department and complete an intake assessment 10 days prior to the program start dateSports Tournament Event with F.A.S.T. Athletics- F.A.S.T. Athletics one day sports event will be a round robin, high energy, music playing event you will not want to miss! All players will be divided into equal teams and placed in a tournament bracket and there will be one team remaining at the end!!

Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Learn to Play - Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker! Racket and balls will be provided by the vendor.Practice and Play - For players who have completed at least one session of Tennis in the Parks or a similar introductory program and are now ready to practice, improve their game and have FUN! This program is run by a USTA-approved coach, players will receive instruction and play matches guided by the coach to gain experience.Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO YOUR TEAM ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED THE CANCELLATION FEE).Adult Pick Up Games- Come and be a kid again! We are planning some FUN, LAUGHTER, and good ol' fashioned GAMES on Friday nights! No stress - "just for fun" games such as badminton, kickball, yard games, recess games & more. Leave your stress at the door and come play for the night! Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.Indoor Winter Pickle Ball (Residents Only)- Calling all Grafton Resident Pickle Ball enthusiasts. Enjoy the winter indoor program option during the cold months. The indoor courts will be based upon a first come first serve basis of registered participants.Volleyball Drop-In Teen/Adult - Monday & Thursday Nights at the Municipal Center Gym. All skill levels welcome, but no instruction will be provided. Monday 3:30pm-5:30pm Thursday 7:30pm - 9pmHiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided hike at Pell Farm to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 8 Soap Hill Road. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.
