6:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Adult Sports - Tennis in The Parks - Adult Tennis Spring
Enjoy a wide variety of adult sports programs. See the descriptions below:Adult Tennis- Led by an approved USTA Net Generation tennis coach, the program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker!Women's Softball- Games are on Sundays, April 27 – June 8 (skip May 25) June 15th will be a makeup. Teams will play one game weekly at 6:00pm or 7:30pm in Hudson, Northboro, and Westboro. Southboro field may be used in case of scheduling conflicts at primary fields. Teams will consist of 13 players. 10 players on the field. Everyone bats. Players will be responsible for bringing their gloves. Batting helmets are not required. The league will provide game balls, an umpire, team t-shirts, at least one team bat, and a face mask to be worn by the pitcher (not required). Additional gameplay rules will be provided before the start of the season. (*PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF TEAMMATE PLACEMENTS. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO YOUR TEAM ASSIGNMENT, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED THE CANCELLATION FEE).Adult Pick Up Games- Come and be a kid again! We are planning some FUN, LAUGHTER, and good ol' fashioned GAMES on Friday nights! No stress - "just for fun" games such as badminton, kickball, yard games, recess games & more. Leave your stress at the door and come play for the night! Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.Indoor Winter Pickle Ball (Residents Only)- Calling all Grafton Resident Pickle Ball enthusiasts. Enjoy the winter indoor program option during the cold months. The indoor courts will be based upon a first come first serve basis of registered participants.Hiking with Conservation & Recreation - Join Conservation Staff on a guided 1 mile hike at Hennessey to learn about the property.  There are segments of the trail with moderate inclines, as well as a few known muddy areas.  Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Hike will meet at 46 Adams Rd. Please dress for the weather. Reflective gear recommended, you will be provided reflective gear if you do not have any.

Enjoy group exercise programs offered by the Rec Department! Descriptions below.MetaFit- Short, intense and rewarding. Metafit is the true HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout and is designed to boost your fitness level, rocket your energy levels & get massive results in the shortest amount of time possible. Metafit is all bodyweight moves and is only 30 minutes long! The "afterburn" from a Metafit workout lasts a minimum 24 hours and up to 48 hours after the workout! That means you are burning fat even in your sleep!!Yoga- This Yoga class offers a moderately paced sequence through the traditional Yoga poses with guidance to unite your breath & body. Class is accessible to all levels of practitioners. (Yoga experience helpful, but not necessary.) Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion. All classes include elements of strength, endurance, stillness and reflection. Come away from your Yoga practice with decreased stress and anxiety, bringing you back to a calm and grounded center.Pilates- Let’s build a strong “Powerhouse” together. Our Pilates workout will focus on toning and strengthening the core muscle groups, increase flexibility and control, improve posture and balance, and ease of movement through daily life. It is a great stress reliever. You will need to bring a Pilate’s mat and water to class. Let’s strengthen our mind and body core together.Zumba- This is a fun way to condition and exercise your body. It is dance based aerobic class with Latino moves and music, spiced with other great styles – twist, hip hop, country dance, tango, 70’s, and belly dance. You will work up a sweat not even knowing that you are exercising. No experience required, anyone can join and have fun with us. You will need to bring water to class.

Enjoy some great programs offered by SkyHawks Sports!Tennis- Whether your child is a beginning or intermediate player, this program will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from tennis. Our tennis programs focus on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players. Skyhawks staff also instill positive life skills such as respect and sportsmanship. Participants should bring a tennis racket, a water bottle, sunscreen (outdoor camps only) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt. Due to limited court space, these programs fill quickly.

Enjoy a variety of programs by FAST Athletics! Program descriptions below.Street Hockey- Come join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some street hockey fun. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion street hockey game. At the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship.Mini Sports- This program is a combination of warm-up games and sports such as soccer, kickball, and tball. It will ease children into learning the basics of all these great games as well as teaching them the importance of team work! Each class F.A.S.T. Athletics will have new and exciting games planned for the students.Flag Football- F.A.S.T. Athletics will teach everyone game strategies, catching techniques and most importantly how to work together as a team. The students will be able to participate in different situational games such as Red Zone Defense, fourth and inches, and The QB Challenge as they learn the importance of fair play. Each class will end with a simulated game broken down into 4 quarters – the coaches will have tons of plays ready to go for their teams!Multi Sports- Get up, get going, get active with a F.A.S.T. Athletics Multi Sports Program. F.A.S.T. Athletics will offer a variety of sports each class such as: Soccer, Mat Ball, Dodgeball, and Kickball to name a few! Programs will include proper stretching and warm-up games as well as learning basic skills of each sport, each class will end with a high energy game with the sport played that day.Mini Hoops -This class is created for those entering Kindergarten in 2024 and already in Kindergarten. Children will work on having fun while learning some fundamentals of basketball. There will be lots of team games, as well as parental participation to encourage the children! Dribbling, passing, and shooting will be the three main fundamental focuses throughout this program.
