Kids will have a set amount of time to create and decorate confections based on Spring Time Themes like Earth Day, Spring Flowers, Baby Animals & more!We will be working with cupcakes, cookies, frosting, fondant and decorations! All ingredients used are nut-free however; some pre-made ingredients may be processed in a facility that also processes nuts. Dodgeball- Come have a (dodge) ball with Thundercat Sports! Gator skin safety balls will be used to ensure safety and fun. This program will consist of different dodge ball related games such as: Doctor, Bombardment, Absorption, Jail Break and more. Clinic is coed, please bring sneakers, appropriate clothing, and a water bottle.Expedition Mars- Prepare for the most thrilling space adventure of a lifetime! Your crew of brave astronauts is about to embark on an expedition to the enigmatic planet Mars. What was supposed to be a simple voyage has turned into a captivating journey filled with mysteries and surprises. Equipped with a fleet of cutting-edge rovers inspired by the legendary Curiosity and Perseverance, it's up to your child to navigate the uncharted terrain and unravel the secrets of this alien world. With gears, axles, motors, and RoboThink's proprietary hardware, they'll also have the opportunity to construct a remarkable spaceship capable of bringing them back home to our beloved solar system. No prior experience necessary– just bid Earth farewell and get ready to set foot on the red planet!Food Imposters- Learn the art of food modeling with a variety of edible delicious ingredients! I bet you never thought you can make tacos out of cake? Join us and learn how! We will be making dessert chicken drumsticks, pasta with meatballs, pizza, sushi and more! This program is available to Grafton residents and school-choice students and runs from 9am - 4pm at the Millbury St. School with a 1:10 counselor to child ratio. Children entering grades 1-5 will be grouped with similar ages and rotate through a variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, and themed activities with a weekly trip to Silver Lake on Fridays. A weekly field trip will occur on Wednesdays, and is included in tuition. Children in grades 6-8 will rotate through activities geared towards older children. Weekly fee also includes a trip to Silver Lake during the week plus 2 off-site field trips.NEW in 2025!- MORE WEEKS! We are adding an additional week to make it 7 full weeks!- Lastly, we are increasing enrollment AGAIN!The C.I.T. program will help your 14 or 15 year old develop their leadership potential and give them an understanding of what is needed to be responsible for a group of children. Through day to day oversight by the Program Leader and helping a counselor care for a group of children, they will gain self confidence, become aware of the environment around them, learn group management skills and become mentors to the kids in their group, all while still being able to experience the FUN of our summer youth program. NEW THIS YEAR- 2 week sessions! Registering for CIT does not guarantee acceptance. There will be a group evaluation (Wednesday, 4/30/25 2:30 PM) with the Program Director. After a review process we will contact you if your child has been accepted into the CIT program and will be taken off of the waitlist. An invoice will be sent at that time.  Children will need to bring the following items daily: peanut-free bag lunch (no glass), plenty of water and snacks, sneakers (no sandals/flip-flops), hat, and sunscreen and on Fridays a bathing suit and towel. All children will receive 1 t-shirt, additional t-shirts can be purchased for $10 a checkout. Children entering grades 1-5 will be grouped with similar ages and rotate through a variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, and themed activities with a weekly trip to Silver Lake on Fridays. A weekly field trip will occur on Wednesdays, and is included in tuition. Children in grades 6-8 will rotate through activities geared towards older children. Weekly fee also includes a trip to Silver Lake during the week plus 2 off-site field trips.NEW in 2025!- MORE WEEKS! We are adding an additional week to make it 7 full weeks!- Lastly, we are increasing enrollment AGAIN!The C.I.T. program will help your 14 or 15 year old develop their leadership potential and give them an understanding of what is needed to be responsible for a group of children. Through day to day oversight by the Program Leader and helping a counselor care for a group of children, they will gain self confidence, become aware of the environment around them, learn group management skills and become mentors to the kids in their group, all while still being able to experience the FUN of our summer youth program. NEW THIS YEAR- 2 week sessions! Registering for CIT does not guarantee acceptance. There will be a group evaluation (Wednesday, 4/30/25 2:30 PM) with the Program Director. After a review process we will contact you if your child has been accepted into the CIT program and will be taken off of the waitlist. An invoice will be sent at that time.  Children will need to bring the following items daily: peanut-free bag lunch (no glass), plenty of water and snacks, sneakers (no sandals/flip-flops), hat, and sunscreen and on Fridays a bathing suit and towel. All children will receive 1 t-shirt, additional t-shirts can be purchased for $10 a checkout.
