9:30 AM - 10:15 AM    Music and Movement with Michelle - Spring 1- Younger Kids
Music and Movement with Michelle is an inclusive early childhood program for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. This fun, engaging class uses music and movement to support cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skill development—all while creating a special bonding experience between children and their grown-ups. During this 45-minute session, Michelle will guide families through playful dance, songs, and musical exploration using upbeat, kid-friendly rhythms and world-inspired music. Children will have hands-on access to a variety of instruments, including bongos, Boomwhackers, rhythm sticks, and scarves, encouraging creativity, coordination, and confidence in a joyful, welcoming environment. Perfect for little movers, music lovers, and caregivers looking to connect, move, and have fun together YOUR INSTRUCTOR:Your instructor for this session will be Michelle Lirange. Michelle has worked in both Early Childhood and Education throughout her life. Most recently she worked for the Worcester Public Schools as a Wraparound Coordinator. After having her son, she realized the need for opportunities for her young child to play, explore, and engage with not only her but other children.

4:30 PM - 7:00 PM    Home Alone/ Babysitting Programs - Spring Babysitting Part 1
Enjoy these Home Alone/ Babysitter programs through Heather Welch!Home Alone- Safe@Home is ideal for students that have expressed interest in assuming the responsibility of staying home alone. Students learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter® First Aid Chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses.Babysitting- This class provides youth who are planning to baby sit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old or anyone who works with children on a daily basis. The Pediatric First Aid & CPR course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help pediatric victims (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Pediatric First Aid/CPR valid for two years. **PLEASE NOTE- PART 1 WILL CERTIFY YOUR CHILD IN BABYSITTING AND IS REQUIRED. PART 2 WILL CERTIFY THEM IN CPR/AED, AND IS NOT REQUIRED. YOU MUST PARTICIPATE IN PART 1 TO ENROLL IN PART 2. Babysitter Meet & Greet- Come and be a kid again! We are planning some FUN, LAUGHTER, and good ol' fashioned GAMES on Friday nights! No stress - "just for fun" games such as badminton, kickball, yard games, recess games & more. Leave your stress at the door and come play for the night! Baby sitting is provided for children in grades K through 5.
