Therapeutic Recreation - Sing, Dance, & Play w/ Music Jen
Sing, Dance, & Play with Music Jen- You're invited to sing, dance, and play in a non-judgemental environment. This welcoming program will take place in a large space within the Grafton Public Library and will provide adaptations or modifications as needed. Stress-release, self-expression, creativity, and joy abound. No prior music experience is needed. An intake assessment is only required if the participants is interested in inclusion support.Lego Social Group- Construct creative builds and socialize with others who love to build on March 19th! Grades K-4th. Designed for individuals with a disability, all are welcome. Raptor Tales rescues and rehabilitates birds of prey, hawks, owls, eagles, falcons, vultures, and hummingbirds, in our area. We will hear about the importance of this type of a rescue and at the end meet the educational ambassador, a Barred Owl named Blue. Although this event is free, registration is required. This is not a drop off event, please register every member attending. Gardening and Bird House Decorating- Join Grafton and Westborough Recreation on April 16th in a hands-on, sensory friendly program. This inclusive activity combines light gardening activities with creative birdhouse decorating. These activities encourage self-expression, fine motor skills, and a connection to nature. This program is designed for individuals with and without disabilities to participate together. -3:30-4:30pm will be for 8-15 year olds.-5:30-6:30pm will be for anyone 16 and over. Cookie Decorating- Participants can get creative while decorating cookies to celebrate someone special in their lives-- or simply for themselves. In a calm, supportive environment, participants will use icing and sprinkles to decoration their own sweet creations. This is a great opportunity to express creativity!
